Network Cabling - Services

Implementing a structured cabling infrastructure can be a complex undertaking, requiring planning and project management. We work in collaboration with our clients supplying technical expertise where required.

Installation

Professional installation of a standards compliant network using quality components is the best foundation for a stable, reliable network.

Sub-standard installation practice and low quality components cause more network faults than you would ever wish to trouble-shoot. Cable faults cause data errors, re-transmissions and collisions as well as other (apparently) transparent problems, resulting in what we all know as a 'slow' network. It's our job to ensure that the network cabling infrastructure performs to spec.

Our Network Cabling installations are tested, certified and guaranteed for 15 years. If you want 5 nines (99.999%) reliability, a professionaly installed network cabling infrastructure is a prerequisite.

* Category 5 (Cat5) has now been discontinued in favour of Category 5e (Cat5e).

Using our experience we have defined and refined our installtion practices and procedures incorporating only quality cables and components to ensure standards compliance for your network.

All our structured cabling installations comply with the standards and recomendations in BS7671-92, IEE wiring reg. (16th edition) and are IEEE-TIA compliant.

Testing

If you have any concerns about an existing cabling installation, for example: when you occupy new premises, we have the facilities to test, fix and certify the installed wiring infrastructure to ensure standards compliance.
